Marisa Louis, Firm President

Marisa Louis has been conquering the tax business by servicing thousands of clients statewide.

Marisa began her journey in 2006 when she started working at Jet Income Tax. Her experience and savvy tax expertise quickly earned her a partner position at the tax firm. In just four short years Marisa and Allan formed Almar Income Tax in 2010, and together they opened the first Jet Income Tax in Harlem, New York. Subsequently, the duo decided to refocus their attention to the Queens location and closed the Harlem office.

Marisa and Allan worked together for over 15 years until the passing of Allan on January 13th, 2021. Marisa solemnly continued managing the business and reinforcing the legacy as Allan did for over 50 years.

Allan Herzlich, Firm Founder

Jet Income Tax was founded in 1969 by Allan Herzlich in the Rochdale Village section ofJamaica, Queens. This was aptly named due to the proximity to JFK Airport. After 30 years, the firm relocated to Springfield Gardens, Queens where he continued to grow his practice for the next 22 years.

Allan had a knack for accounting. He was gifted in calculating numbers, which made him extremely popular in the community. His firm quickly grew to assisting over 1,000 clients in the Jamaica, Springfield Gardens and Laurelton area, as well as the surrounding boroughs, Long Island, and out of state. He was trusted by many and the same business motto continues on through his successor, Marisa Louis.
